Did you give a correct email address? At you end of the PayPal authorization, you are asked if you want to return to the merchant? Did you do that? That's the point at which you are provided with the download code.

My guess is that your computer has a Windows OS. The song title had a question mark or bullet point or some Windows-illegal naming character. We had forgotten about this issue. The song files are contained in a ZIP self-extracting archive. Double-clicking it should yield a folder containing song files and, often, artwork and a liner notes pdf. Sometimes Windows needs guidance. Right click the file, click on 'open,' click on the very fist option presented. Take a look at this thread.
